Just to set this straight (in my humble opinion) and budget allowing, film is still the acquisition medium of choice for motion pictures, and once the neg is either scanned or otherwise transferred to data for post and DI then it counts as digital cinema and we'll cover all topics relating to this process here at 4K Hub.
